Emily C. Newbury, PsyD, is a post-doctoral fellow in Health Psychology at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. She received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England where her dissertation provided clinical recommendations for working with LGBTQ+ young adults with intersecting identities. She is interested in research geared toward improving timely access to healthcare for under served and marginalized populations. Emily has a generalist training background with a focus on integrative approaches to psychotherapy, mindfulness-based interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, and relational work. She completed her doctoral internship at Georgia State University Counseling & Testing Center with a focus on integrative university health and eating disorders. During her internship, she co-created and led an eating disorder assessment and treatment team that integrated campus health, nutrition, and counseling partners.
