Susanna Sutherland is a doctoral candidate and is the Adult Clinical Psychology Intern at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is interested in transmission and prevention of psychopathology in families, particularly the transmission of mood disorders from parents to offspring. While a graduate student at Vanderbilt University, she completed year-long practicum placements with the Adult Psychiatry Outpatient CBT Clinic, the Center of Excellence for Children in State Custody, Vanderbilt Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Behavioral Health Oncology/Hematology department, all under the umbrella of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Susanna began working in the McKernan Lab in the summer of 2021 as a clinical researcher and interventionist.
