Urobiome Analysis in Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome Reveals Nuanced Differences Associated with Localized Pain

Researchers found that differences in urinary bacteria were not a major explanation for why some people experience more severe IC/BPS symptoms than others. However, a few specific bacteria were linked to certain symptom patterns, offering new clues that may help guide future personalized treatments.
