Using smartphone-based daily surveys, researchers found that people with overactive bladder experienced more anxiety and greater day-to-day ups and downs in both their emotions and urinary symptoms than people without overactive bladder. Urinary urgency was especially unpredictable, suggesting that symptom fluctuations may be an important part of the overactive bladder experience and could help guide future treatment approaches.
